ACCESS TO IMPROVED DRINKING WATER

Universal access to safe drinking water is a fundamental need and human right. Securing access for all would go a long way in reducing illness and death, especially among children. More than half of the Nigerian population does not have access to improved drinking water sources. States like Imo and Abia are projected to make great strides in improving access, the opposite seems to be the case for the country’s largest sub-regional economy, Lagos.
