BUDGET EFFICIENCY
Budget efficiency looks at the relationship between a state’s annual budget and the amount the state is able to internally generate. It is measured how much a state has to spend in order to generate one naira in revenue, excluding federal allocations. It can be indicated that the lower the figure, the more efficient the budget has been executed in cutting out unnecessary cuts in increasing revenue in relation to the amount spent.
